The work "Eine elefantastische Geschichte“ ("An elephantastic tale") is intended as a critique of the way the city of Wuppertal handles the history of Tuffi. It juxtaposes two sides: the trivializing and romanticized portrayal of a serious accident and the actual gravity and cruelty of the event. This juxtaposition is achieved through specific design features. On one side, the current, sugar-coated portrayal of Tuffi is emulated. Elements like balloons and nicely designed souvenirs represent the glorified narrative promoted in Wuppertal. On the other side, the true tragedy of Tuffi is conveyed through a dark and oppressive design of the poster lying on the ground. The artwork encourages viewers to enter the poster and contemplate what it means for Tuffi.
